Senate Bill 6340 signed into law

Senate Bill 6340 adds a criminal defense attorney to the Washington State Forensic Investigation Council, the agency that provides oversight of the State’s crime laboratories. 

Hanis Irvine Prothero’s Partner and Criminal Defense Attorney, Mark Prothero, helped in the drafting of Senate Bill 6340 and testified before the Senate and House Committees for the Bill’s consideration.

On March 19, 2010, Senate Bill 6340 was signed into law by Governor Chris Gregoire.

On Thursday, 3/25, Hanis Irvine Prothero will be hosting the Kent Chamber After Hours Event for the Relay For Life of Kent from 5pm – 7pm.
This is HIP’s 2nd year participating in The Relay For Life of Kent. Last year the firm raised $1,300 for the American Cancer Society.
